Working Objects: Blast furnace main iron runner, branch runner, slag runner and tilting spout. This wireless remote‑controlled tracked machine is equipped with a hydraulic breaker, to handle solid residual iron, hard slag and eroded & damaged refractory linings.

Core Functions

1. Remove solid residual iron and slag to unblock flow channels After tapping, solidified hard slag and residual iron crust accumulate inside the iron runners. The machine crushes and clears these agglomerates to unblock the iron flow passage. It ensures smooth flow of molten iron and slag for the next tapping, and prevents channel blockage and iron overflow accidents.

2. Demolish damaged refractory materials for runner‑repair pre‑treatment Long‑term scouring and erosion by high‑temperature molten iron causes spalling, pitting and cracking of castable refractories for iron runners. The machine crushes and removes aged and damaged refractory layers and clears waste materials, preparing for subsequent refractory re‑pouring and replacing manual chiseling with pneumatic pick hammers.

3. Trim the cross‑section profile of runners Restore the designed runner profile after cleaning, stabilize the flow velocity of molten iron, reduce slag entrapment caused by molten‑iron eddy current, and improve blast‑furnace tapping conditions.

4. Eliminate high‑risk manual work and improve site safety The casthouse features high‑temperature radiation, splashes and heavy dust. Manual slag‑removal work at close range carries extremely high risks. Operators work via long‑distance remote control without approaching hot runners, avoiding scalding and splash‑related injuries and improving furnace‑front working conditions.
