• Refractory Demolition

  Efficiently crush and remove worn, eroded, and damaged castable refractory / refractory brick linings on the inner walls of the main trough, slag trough, and iron trough, preparing for re-casting / brick laying.

• Slag & Skull Removal

  Break up and clean up solidified residual iron, hard slag, and agglomerates (skull) inside the troughs, dredge the flow channels, and restore smooth flow of molten iron and slag.

• Precision Breaking

  Adopts remote control + hydraulic power to accurately break old linings without damaging the trough steel structure (protecting the main body).

• Safety & Efficiency (Replacing Manual Work)

  Operated by personnel at a safe distance, completely avoiding risks such as high temperature, dust, collapse, and radiation. Efficiency is 5–10 times that of manual pneumatic breakers, greatly shortening the blast furnace maintenance downtime.

• Versatility

  Equipped with replaceable attachments such as hydraulic breakers, cutters, buckets, and grabs, it can also be used for cast house deslagging, unpacking, taphole cleaning, launder repair, etc.

II. Typical Application Scenarios

1. Planned Maintenance of Blast Furnace

• Overhaul / medium maintenance of main trough / iron trough / slag trough: periodic removal of old refractory linings and re-casting.

• Maintenance of swing spout: removal of spout lining and agglomerates.

2. Emergency Hot / Cold Repair

• Rapid breaking, cleaning, patching and repairing after burn-through, iron leakage, or severe erosion.

• Breaking and dredging in case of blockage caused by large-volume residual iron / slag in the troughs.

3. Cast House Auxiliary Work

• Demolition and cleaning of refractories in the taphole area.
