After the hot metal from blast furnace undergoes KR stirring desulfurization or magnesium injection desulfurization, a layer of high-sulfur solid desulfurization slag will form on the surface of the hot metal ladle. Equipped with a hydraulic telescopic slag raking arm and wear-resistant slag rake bucket, this machine thoroughly rakes out all desulfurization slag on the molten iron to completely separate waste slag from clean hot metal.
Core Process Purpose: Prevent Sulfur Reversion
Residual desulfurization slag carried into the converter will release sulfur back into molten steel under high-temperature smelting conditions. This will lead to excessive sulfur content in steel products, hot shortness cracking and even product scrapping.
