• Online thermal cleaning

  Cleans slag buildup and blockages at high operating temperature without shutting down or cooling the furnace, eliminating the need for furnace cooling.

• Clearing blocked channels

  Removes solidified slag, sticky slag and accretions from the slag door, slag mouth, tapping / slag launder, slag trough and other passages.

• Crushing hard slag

  Uses hydraulic breakers and drills to break large pieces of skull and sintered slag, dredging flow channels.

• Restoring launder and slag mouth profile

  Smoothes the inner wall of launders and trims the contour of slag mouths to ensure smooth flow of molten steel and furnace slag.

• Replacing high-risk manual work

  Operated by remote control, keeping personnel away from high temperature, radiation and splashing hazards.

II. Application Scenarios (Specific for EBT-EAF)

Suitable for modern electric arc furnace steelmaking workshops equipped with Eccentric Bottom Tapping (EBT):

• Slag door blocked by slag buildup

  The door is sealed by sintered slag, making normal slag tapping impossible.

• Slag mouth / slag channel jammed

  The slag opening is narrowed or blocked, reducing slag discharge efficiency.

• Severe slag adhesion on tapping / slag launder

  The launder is restricted, causing poor slag flow and risks of overflow and steel sticking.

• Cleaning slag around EBT tapping hole

  Removes slag buildup near the tapping hole to ensure smooth steel tapping with minimal slag carry-over.

• Routine maintenance of rear slag troughs and chutes

  Fast thermal cleaning reduces downtime and improves steelmaking rhythm.

• Multi-shift continuous production

  Ideal for high-output EAF workshops where long cooling periods for manual cleaning are not permitted.
