It performs precise gunning on worn, spalled and eroded areas of furnace linings without full shutdown or with short downtime. It restores furnace profile and tightness, eliminates the need for complete refractory dismantling and re-lining. It cuts maintenance time by over 70% and extends the service life of furnace linings by 30%–50%.
The manipulator features 360° rotation, extension and lifting movements, enabling access to confined and deep cavities such as blast furnace stacks and ladle bottoms. It delivers uniform spraying with controllable thickness and low rebound rate (≤10%), leaving no blind spots or uneven layers. The spraying capacity reaches 100–250 kg/min, 3 to 5 times higher than manual operation.
Operators work remotely outside the furnace, staying away from extreme heat over 1000℃, dust, coal gas and radiation. It eliminates risks of thermal burns and gas poisoning, and greatly reduces workplace accidents.
The repaired smooth and well-sealed furnace wall reduces heat loss by 15%–25%. It also cuts refractory consumption to approximately 0.2–0.4 kg per ton of steel and lowers the demand for standby furnaces.
It integrates spraying, cleaning and inspection in one unit. Available in fixed type (furnace top/side mounted), mobile type (rail/truck mounted) and telescopic type, it is adaptable to various furnace types and site conditions.
Blast Furnace: Spray and repair linings on furnace belly, stack, throat and tuyere areas to reshape furnace profile, stabilize slag crust and prevent buildup.
Converter: Hot gunning on furnace walls, trunnions, tapholes and slag lines to prolong furnace campaign life.
Ladle: Repair slag lines, ladle walls, bottoms and areas around purging plugs to prevent steel leakage.
Electric Arc Furnace (EAF): Spray furnace roofs, walls, slag lines and tapholes.
RH Degasser: Maintain inner and outer walls of snorkels and circulation pipes.
Taphole: Spray refractory layers after reaming to protect tapholes against erosion.
Rotary Kiln: Repair refractory linings inside kilns, preheaters, calciner and coolers.
Lime Shaft Kiln: Restore linings on kiln walls and tops.
Aluminium Reduction Cell: Spray cell linings, side walls and bottoms.
Heating & Heat Treatment Furnace: Maintain furnace walls, roofs and areas around burner blocks.
Incinerator & Waste Disposal Furnace: Spray high-temperature resistant linings.
