Functions

1. Drills and reams the converter taphole under high temperature, breaks and removes eroded and slag-built old refractory thimble bricks, and restores the taphole to standard diameter and coaxiality.

2. Quickly removes damaged thimble bricks and accurately installs new ones to realize fast taphole repair.

3. Ensures regular taphole size and position, stabilizes steel tapping flow, reduces slag entrapment and re-oxidation of molten steel.
